Wenwu (The Mandarin)

Xu Wenwu was born approximately one thousand years ago. Upon finding a set of magical rings worn about the arms, Wenwu was imbued with incredible power including super strength and immortality. With this, he formed the Ten Rings army and dominated much of the planet Earth. In 1996, Wenwu located the ancient and hidden city of Ta Lo and fell in love with one of its inhabitants: Ying Li. They had two children, Shang-Chi and Xu Xialing, and lived together happily for many years until Ying’s death at the hands of the Iron Gang. Wracked with guilt and anger, Wenwu has renewed his quest to dominate the Earth, a quest Shang-Chi must put an end to!
